HOMEWORLD:Dom-Bradden, also known as Bradden, was a planet in the Outer Rim.
In 18 BBY, the Galactic Empire stationed several stormtroopers on the world to be picked up by the Eye of Palpatine, which never arrived. The Eye of Palpatine finally stopped at the planet in 12 ABY, and failing to find the stormtrooper contingent it was looking for, took on board a number of Affytechans whom they attempted to brainwash into being Imperial Navy Troopers.
BIOLOGY AND APPEARANCE:Affytechans were a species of tall, bipedal, sentient plants. Each Affytechan had a unique growth of leaves, petals, tassels, tendrils and thorns. Affytechans although beautiful to the Human eye, they stank to the Human nostril. Affytechans had a normal body temperature of 83 degrees.
CULTURE AND HISTORY:A number of Affytechans were abducted to the Eye of Palpatine and mindwashed into believing themselves Imperial naval crewmen of the vessel, consulting blank computer screens and carrying brooms and mops as blasters. These included Breen, who believed himself an Imperial medic and was recruited by Luke Skywalker to locate transports off the Eye.
