That orange is actually more of a brownish orange / burnt orange mixed from a red and a mustard yellow(the yellow used for the yellow part of the jet. )  And the red appearing on Jet is the color used in the mix as well.   So there is actually only two different paints used.   Does that make sense?

Ok let me see if I can clarify . . .
I used a red to paint the red areas, and a mustard yellow to paint the yellow areas, and then mixed those two colors until I got the orange color I wanted.   Hope this helps . . . . .

Very cool stuff.  I just joined recently and am excited to see others' work.  I like the Sith soldier.  I've got a couple made from GI Joes, also.  Can't wait to see more.

Hey Again everyone . . .. . just finished a Commander Jet "Variant" . . . Rather than the earmuff version, the client asked for a Rex helmet with the fin shaved off and the sensorscope intact.   Let me know what you think . . . .Sorry about glossiness - -that is partly the camera flash and partly me getting my Future / /Water mix correct.

I have quite a few Citadel paints.  I also use some of the paints from wal mart.   Daler Rowney and the other brand sold there  - I forget the name.  My personal opinion is that they seem to all have the same durability.   Its really more about what is used to seal the paint.   Some are thicker than others, but other than that, I really think its all about pre-treatment, application, and protection.     Everyone has their own opinion though.
