I agree with clint, I want to know your molding techniques and supplies.

The clone wars neyo is my favorite of the last few you posted, great stuff on making a legacy style helmet into something that looks very convincingly like it was from the toon.  Great helmet bash/sculpting whichever it was.

just amazing customs dude espeially the bacara :o :o
how do u make the straps for neyo fordo and bacara

I have separate molds for each strap. I run a thin copper wire inside the strap for added strength and to tie it off like with a loop on one end and a hook on the other.
thanks dude awesome customs again

That's an incredible array of excellent clones, Ironhide. I also love the occasional mini dio you've made, like Chopper. Very nice, indeed.

And it's not about what you don't own anymore, it's what you made in the first place  :)

you can do it too tamer, don't sell yourself short.  I recomend taking apart a few figures to get the feel for how they are constructed, that's how I started.  I found broken figures that my kids had messed up and took them apart while trying to fix them.  Once I learned how they were constructed it was easy to take the next step into repairing/rebuilding them and doing kit bashes.  Simple head swaps, arm/hand/leg swaps are where to start... then work your way to custom painting, then on up to extreme kit bashing and scratch building, then up to sculpting, molding and casting, and from there go on to whatever you want!  lol

I am by no means really talented. I'll post up some pics of how I made the Neyo helmet, rotary cannon, and the scratch built straps.  Anybody can do it with the right tools, time, and patience.

BTW, I use Smooth-on molding and casting stuff. Along with supporting the local hobby shop buying glue, brushes, paints, and other bits of stuff.

A well-built sniper rifle is a beautiful thing. Ours has two zoom modes, "Up close and personal" and "Hello, you're dead
