those stripes and the rifle finish Kal nicely. Don't you love the mean little sculpt on these mandos? Nice Jusik too, I thought you selected the perfect parts and accessories for him.

NICE!!!  So Cool!  How'd you do the rifle?  It looks like the one by Ray Ramirez.  Check out my pages and look for my Mandos.  I think you'll dig em.

I used the Rex rifle from the ARC Troopers battle pack, and grafted in a piece of styrene tubing. I based the colors off of a fan made version I found on the web. The silver and gun metal color combo looks custom and high tech. I checked out you RC figures. I like the Ordo in Mando gear with Bessany. I'd like to do a TCW Bessany and Etain if only I could find some more female TCW figures. I only have one of each and I don't want to sacrifice them for the cause.

Understandable.  I want to do a Besany and Laseema in armor but I only have one set of female Mandos from the EE exclusive set.  I would buy a couple or so more but at around $25 each it might not happen.  I did make a "female" mando by using a TCW style Mando.  I'd rather try and get the Isabet and Rav figures, though.  thanks for sharing the mod info for the rifle, by the way.

Regarding Mird, I'm tackling this too and I think the Avatar Viperwolf seems like a REALLY good base. Trying to find some on the cheap!

I saw a Ben10 "Spidermonkey" hologram like figure that has six legs and might work with a dog head on it.  But the Viper Wolf looks awesome and has articulation.  Great idea!

I've thought about the viper wolf and have discussed it with a couple of the guys here.  The one thing is that it's a lean creature and doesn't have the loose skin that is described.  You could add some kind of sculpt to it but you may lose the articulation.  I'm just kicking myself for not buying them cheap when I had the chance at a store that sold merchandise that didn't move as quickly.  I saw them there for weeks and when I finally decided to get them, GONE!  Oh well, live and learn.

Well, holy sh*t.  Those Mandos are just plain awesome.  I love Karen Traviss' work and it's cool to see her creations in 3-D.  Good job.  Cannot wait for Vau!
