A rim strip! Now that is thinking outside the box! As in the piece that covers the inside of the rim over the spoke nipples right? How did you etch the lines in there on the edges?

Yeah, its the strip of rubber between the tube and the rim. It was the right thickness, flexibility, texture, and color for the job.

Given another shot at this, I think I could do a better job putting it together. Then I'd make a casting of it.

Very cool Bacara!!  I am wondering if we will see him on the CW soon??  All your customs rock man and I am planning on super articulating my Rex in the way you have shown on here so thanks for the how to on that as well.  We just started doing a customizing podcast on the Yards as well...would love to have you on some time and interview you about your work.  If you are interested pm me or Tamer.
