Yeah, you better keep them. Those are the only 2 I never even seen at stores, E-wing and Tie Defender. Wish they would bring Action Fleet back.
Now, one rare figure that I wish I would have picked up was the Episode III Palpatine with blue lightsaber. Tell ya a quick story about that.
I was looking in the toy aisle, as usual, and this real nerdy looking chick just came up and started talking to me about Star Wars and I was being real cool with her, and she told me, "you should buy this figure right here(palpatine with blue lightsaber, she had 2 in her hands) because I got an inside tip from someone working in Hasbro that these figures are going to be worth alot." My girlfriend was standing there laughing her butt off and I just walked away and I said, "that nerdy b@#* said Hasbro!" But she was right, the last time I checked that figure was going for $50.

Oh, I didn't want it then. I don't care about variants and all that cuz I don't leave anything in their packages. I only have 4 figures still in packages, mail away George Lucas in Stormtrooper gear, Jorg Sucul x-wing, the silver R2-D2, and Emperor Palpatine holograph from Episode III(crap but it was an exclusive.) It drives me nuts to leave my stuff in the packages and everytime I see those 4 I just want to open them.

plus i have the metallic impressions "Dark Empire" card tin  signed by dave dorman(worldwide run of 1100) and a Topps star wars heritage series "autograph" card Darth Vader signed by James Earl Jones(apparently its worth about £150 ish).

For me it depends on the "coolness" of the exclusive.

Sometimes they are just so lame and overpriced that even on clearance they aren't worth it.
