Darth C's cutom Rebel Officers

Her is my first attempt at any customizing of figures.  I kept it pretty simple for this go around.  These are all Gen McQuarrie figures from the TAC line.

This one I painted the hair black and his boots black.
The second one was made to be a black officer.
The third one the hair was painted brown.
The fourth one the hair painted a darker brown and the scarf and boots painted darker brown.
These figures are part of my Hoth Rebel Officers Briefing dio.

Nicely done, Chad. Mabey you could try a moustache. They are not too hard but take some small strokes.
  On my smaller scale military figures, sometimes, I would paint the moustache and then, come back to touch up around the stache with the skin color.

I thought about that, but didn't know how it would look since its not molded onto the plastic.

it is amazing how different each of these looks. If you hadn't told me they were all gen mcfigs I probably wouldn't have guess on quite a few.  I think I like the first one best.

As for the idea for the mustache like Clint said, before you paint you could add some sculpting to give it a more realistic look. (just an idea)

u know mcquarrie figs are quite expensive to use for customing but they look great anyway :)

Well not for this project.  Got them at target on closeout for like a $1.75 each.
