As always, I really appreciate all the feedback. You're all too kind!

More clones from me soon hopefully, for now, here's a young Jedi I finished today.

Here's a "flashback" custom of the red-haired Jedi I posted before, Leda-Mem. She's remembering a few years before, when she was a young Jedi Knight, just out of the trials.

Recipe:
GIJOE ROC SCARLETT - Head, Hands
CONCEPT STARKILLER HERO - Torso
NARNIA SUSAN - Skirt (cut down)
PADMÉ AMIDALA (Illum) - Hips
PADMÉ AMIDALA (Senator of Naboo) - Legs
PRINCESS LEIA (Medical Frigate) - Arms
Great looking Jedi, Dan!

I realy realy like that last one.  The recipe is perfect.  You didn't even have to do much painting on it did you?

Only the torso and skirt, with some detailing on the boots. Also did a light red wash on the face to make her look a little more healthy and highlight her lips a bit.

DanOfTheDead's customs 2/22 "Soft-Shell" Clone Technician Haywire
« Reply #62 on: February 22, 2010, 10:04:44 PM »

Clone Private 7331, nicknamed "Haywire", is a "soft-shell"; clones trained for technical tasks and operations rather than combat. (see Switch). Assigned under Commander Trip, Haywire excels at mechanics, weapon maintenance, and slicing.

Recipe:
JANGO FETT (Bounty Hunter) - Head (probably) and forearms
MAJOR PANNO - Lower Legs
HRCHEK KAL FAS - Base Figure
NABOO SOLDIER - Helmet

I first noticed this clone design in the demo for Clone Wars Republic Heroes, and upon researching realized that they're in the background of the Clone Wars Series as well. Really love the look and the idea of less combat oriented clones, and had to make one. I think his helmet needs a mic, but otherwise I'm really happy with how he came out!

Here's a quick snapshot from the Clone Wars art book to show one from the show, usually seen in the hangar:

I love it, Dan. Ever since the Geonosis Saga, I have been wanting to do one of these and you pulled it off in spectacular fashion. Front Paged, of course.

What a great name to go with just a great custom. Why Hasbro won't do this is beyond me. Excellent job.

Thanks guys!

He's actually a little more inspired by this guy here: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/CP-6824

That was the first time I noticed the design, didn't realize they were in the Clone Wars series until I started researching.

Picture in my post is from The Art of Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

"Haywire" here is supposed to look a little disheveled and battle-worn, but if you're interesting in doing one of these, I think the Imperial Scanning Crew figure would be a great base figure and maybe even more accurate.

Oh, and thanks for the front page highlight, Clonehead!

I'm working on Haywire, Tank (the big RC), and Trip (a Commander, don't think I've posted him here) all out of armor, more of a "civilian" look. Those should be up soon.

Nice job, I love non-typical customs.  Great job.  The Photart is a perfect backdrop,  great job to both of you.
