You should ask spooky how he makes his lightsabors glow as if they were real, that would put the final touch on this already amazing card.

First of all, I can't believe it's been 4.5 years since I've created any customs.  I should be ashamed of myself.

That being said, all those years of tinkering and playing Mad Scientist have come to fruition!  One of my classes in school is Digital Imaging, since I'm minoring in graphic design.  So the final project for this class: Create an action figure and arrange it digitally on different backgrounds and packaging.  It's like this class was made for me!

So For this weekend, I have to have shots of different figures and concepts arranged and altered in photoshop.  I'm torn between 3 3/4" or 6" right now.  I have plenty of both in the form of Marvel Universe and Marvel Legends, so I have plenty to work with.  The question I pose to you all is this: Is there anything out there, readily available, in the 6" variety (more articulated) that I really need to pick up to work with? Or should I stick with what I have, which is ALL super articulated, and go from there?

Thoughts?  Ideas?  I don't think I want to go with anything related to Star Wars, and my instructor keeps throwing in the word "creature" with action figure, so I'm not entirely sure if my action figure should be some sort of half man/half beast or whatnot.

Sounds like Beast from your Marvel Collection would work well.

For me, I don't see how anyone can be without either than Hoth Han and Taun Taun or Hoth Luke and Wampa in the six inch variety. They are pretty cool. I could see you really creating a top notch Wampa Cardback or Box with your digital skill. It was great years ago and it sounds like you have been honing it.

If you haven't seen the paint apps on those two, pat, don't plan on being impressed. I can imagine some head and accessory swaps working for your marvel stuff. Picked me up a pretty cool 6 inch ghost rider the other day. The jaw is articulated.

Thanks guys, I will go out and see if I can find any of those to look at.  I was leaning towards Beast already, Shawn, because it looks great in the 3 3/4" figure.  However, a 6" Ghost Rider head could be pretty epic too.
