I buy more crap repacks from this line for my son than I would like to admit, and I have never seen or heard of this card game pack in.
How about asking them what they are smoking, and who they get it from.
Utter morons.

found this question and answer on Scum today that originated from this other site.

From the German site lichtgeschwindigkeit.de

http://www.lichtgeschwindigkeit.de/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=6521

1) Will we see a return of the Ultimate Battlepacks this year? If so, can you share any information of what to expect? And how about a different Hoth Battlepack in the future that includes an Ion Cannon?

Hasbro: While we will not release specifics, the Hoth packs coming later this year will be bigger than the current Battle Packs, but not quite as large and pricey as the original Ultimate Battle Packs. So in general, you are hunting in the right area, although the Ion Cannon is still way too big for us to execute.

2) We are still waiting to see the release of the non-bearded Hoth Rebel Trooper. Will he make it onto the new Vintage style cards or are you holding on to release him in a battlepack? He would make a nice addition on a single card considering the 30th Anniversary of ESB.

Hasbro: He will be released in one of the new Battle Packs mentioned above, later this Fall. At some point we do not rule out a release on a Vintage card, but that would be far out in the future if we did.

These are some great answers. I'm intrigued about the bigger Hoth BPs. I'm assuming one has the AT-ST and the other might be a rebel one with the Wedge snowspeeder or maybe one with the rebel soldier, Torynn Farr, computer consoles, and...??

I can't wait to find out about these, but I think Hasbro said the Hoth BPs would be shown at CV.

Tamer, pay attention here. They said more than one new Hoth Battle pack. Bigger than the normal battle packs but smaller than the UBPs. One will contain the beardless rebel trooper. I had also read that one may be a Echo Base Hangerbay themed BP.

I seen this on toymania.com and laughed.

2) While several Clone Wars Mandalorians were shown at Toyfair, the Duchess of Mandalore (Satine Kryze) was very conspicuous by her absence. As the Duchess is the protagonist of that arc and is shown to be a capable woman when she rescues Obi-Wan, would she be considered for a figure in the Clone Wars line or is she just considered not "kid-friendly" enough for inclusion?

Answer: We will not be producing a Duchess Satine figure. Clone Wars is a line that is consumed overwhelmingly by kids, and she is not a figure that they want or care about.

I suppose they care about 5 year old repacks of yoda and the droids

from Actionfigureinsider

Q1) Will we see more video game chars, or reissues, like Delta Squad reissued, KotoR’s Darths reissued, that sort of thing?
A1) As a matter of fact, yes.  Delta Squad will be reissued at some point, hopefully in 2011 and wil new upper torso/arm articulation to match the new Evolutions-upgraded lower torso.  The KotOR Darths are not currently on the re-release schedule but it is something we want to see happen over the next could of years, but we just need to find the right approach to it.

Q2) Will Hasbro ever re-issue the ULTIMATE HOTH PLAYSET (debuted at Target) or will we they just re-issue the HOTH REBEL TURRET?
A2)  The Ultimate Battle Pack as it was originally released will not be coming back.  Instead, there will be a new configuration including the Turret and some other new bits.  Don’t get your hopes up for an Ion Cannon, though…we looked at this a few years back and it was simply too massive to be done for something that was not a vehicle.

From All Spark

2) With all the Clone Wars Animated figures with limited articulation, why choose to take a step backward with the Clones themselves by removing articulation? While the "ab-crunch" articulation may not be quite as missed, the ankle articulation is a fundamental part of the clone body that allows for dynamism in posing and even for better stability in simple standing. The new Commander Stone now perches awkwardly next to his squad mates due to loss of this ankle articulation which, combined with even marginal package warping to the legs, seriously hampers stability.

QUOTE(Hasbro)
The large majority of Clone Wars figures are bought by kids, for whom, quite simply, super-articulation is a misplaced design. The actual cost of delivering this articulation is very large when it comes to molding, assembly, and deco. To keep costs down, and make sure that we are investing in the right areas for collectors (i.e. tooling for new movie figures, which is what far more fans are actively collecting), we needed to make the change.

From asmzine.com

2.We heard something in a previous Q&A about some comic packs and Entertainment Earth.  Can you elaborate on this?

2.Yes! We have good news on the Comic Pack front; Entertainment Earth will be carrying all four of the Comic Packs that had been developed but set aside as the mainline assortment ran out of time before it was due to leave retail. The details on these packs will be announced by Entertainment Earth…we could not be more excited that this sensational lineup has found a great partner to deliver these sets to fans.

from Dewback Patrol

2) How about doing alternate heads as a mail away? Send in 5 pop and shipping and you get few alternate heads you can pop on your current figures. Throw in a couple different head accessories (Bespin guard hat, Hoth soldier scarf and hat, imp officer hats). Fans can troop build. Let’s say you did 5 different generic human heads. They could be used to make 5 different Hoth soldiers. Then those same heads could be used to make 5 different Endor rebel soldiers. So what do you think? – DewbackHunter

And then, what do you do with the extra heads? Since customizers are a small part of the collecting audience, we would not be able to do something like this.

from Galactic Hunter

Galactic Hunter: Were the Dewback and the Gelagrub successful enough that we will see some more  non-character (e.g.. Jabba The Hutt) creatures? In a previous Q&A we learned that a Tauntaun was pushed back. Is there any chance it has inched forward at all?

HASBRO: No to all three questions, unfortunately. Neither cleared through retail like we had hoped and as a result creatures have been a bit of a tough sell.  We do think the Tauntaun, though, stands along because it is tied to great characters and can be more affordably priced.  Right now, we are hopeful a new version will be in the 2011 exclusive lineup but this is not confirmed and could fall off the table. If it does, we will look at 2012.  No word on whether we will be able to capture the real smell of a Taunton in plastic; we're having a hard time finding volunteers to make it all the way through the product testing.

I tell ya what, I would not count that Rebel Transport out just yet.  They said absolutely not to the AT-TE, and we got it.  The bigger vehicles HAVE sold up to their expectations.  I am going to keep on pushing for the Rebel Transport because it needs to be made.

How many years did they say no to the ATTE? I think Pat is right. We will get our rebel transport.
