It is a Morplan flexible mannequin, it was not very cheap but worth it.

Considering what we've paid for Stormtrooper costumes, I do believe it is.  Did you order directly from Morplan's site?

Directly from their site indeed. And it arrived in 1 week or so very well packed and very heavy. It was even more difficult to put the armor on, like dressing a stiff dead guy LOL ;D But once finished I was totally happy with the result. And seems the E-11 blaster and holster will arrive soon too :)

LOL!

Do you live in England?

How easy do these pose?
Do they feel like they'd hold up to multiple pose changes?
How about more extreme type poses?

I don't live in UK. You can pose his arms and legs, they have strong wire inside, but not the torso, they have a mannequin that does but it's 2 times the price and not worth it. You can also rotate the head.

I don't pose my Stomie like Spiderman  ;D

I was thinking I might want to pose him in a similar Spiderman/Stormtrooper stance.  Except he'd be holding his gun in a firing position rather than web slinging.   ;D

I think if I had one I would pose it in the standard stormtrooper attention stance

I might reconsider his pose when the E-11 blaster arrives. I'll see then how well can he hold it.

Thanks.

The origin of this helmet comes from the "The Garden of Earthly Delights" by Hieronymus Bosch (1450–1516), interesting, isn't it?  ;)

I was unaware Shepperton had the license to produce replicas.  Neat though.

They don't. That's why the LFL lawsuit. But serious prop collectors have at least one of his helmets, knowing he was indeed the guy who pulled the molds back in 1976. The customer service quality is excellent, the product is great.

and Shepperton won that lawsuit with the stipulation they cannot offer products in the USA or sell in the USA IIRC.....

so the only way to get one is to have jkno buy one for us and have him ship it to the US :)

It would be even better if someone from UK would help, thus there won't be too much extra shipping costs :)
