I have heard the same thing. I know one thing you are sure a top source that I know of when it comes to OT Movie Accuracy for all things Imperial.

Thanks Shawn! I could get an acrylic cover for it anytime, the stand was specifically made in such a way it would hold an acrylic case. But this blaster needs to be held in hands from time to time, no problems with it being fragile like other props. This is one big, heavy, and sturdy prop, all metal and just a bit of plastic. And is my #1 item in my collection.
