One of the statues I was looking for finally arrived: Attakus 1/5 Sandtrooper Sergeant. A very cool and impressive statue, with a much better pose then the orange pauldron version, I got it from a German collector I met on FB. It's cool to compare the helmets of the Attakus Stormtrooper and Sandtrooper, and see the differences, the Stormie looks quite odd, even for a ROTJ inspired helmet, but the Sandtrooper looks pretty good considering Attakus was never too much into accuracy.

Thank you. If you are interested in 1/6 Hot Toys or Sideshow figures, they are great, but not too cheap.

My advice, when going for higher end 1/6 figures, and are restricted by a fixed budget, is to try to find a collecting focus or at least only buy the figures you like the most. Always look for good deals on forums and FB groups, and if possible try to avoid pleather/faux leather or rubber Hot Toys figures, they tend to deteriorate in time, especially if living in hot humid areas. Once you go to higher scales you'll see how fast the budget gets more and more limited and also the display space. Always use the money you save especially for this collecting purpose, and never use the family or house money.

A nice Sandtrooper carpet/rug I ordered about 2 months ago just arrived, it is from the same seller who sent me a Stormie carpet and now the seller is not even on ebay anymore, no way to leave positive feedback for him. Anyway the carpet is very cool, it still shows the fold in the middle, but it will disappear in a few days after being installed anyway.

The Stormie carpet I got in May:

The particular seller I bought them from isn't on ebay anymore, but there are other sellers who have these rugs:

A nice Imperial logo banner I just received, it will stay on that door only for a while, until it might be replaced by a larger one.

Thank you. It is a run on RPF and Facebook made by a fan from UK, being the most accurate replica to date. I have another replica similar to this one from a 2011 run which is now belonging to a friend
