I think, just because I'm a new collector, I'll be getting most of this line. I'll definitely be getting all of the OT figures, and keep them carded. I may get a few prequel figures to keep carded, like Cody, if they have nice packaging. Any other prequel figures I get from this line I'll open.

Yeah, somebody already pointed that out. For me to ever buy another Darth Vader they would have to drastically make improvements cuz I already have about 20 Vaders. Hate to see Build A Droid go, but at least now I won't have to buy the figures I don't want. With B.A.D. they tricked us into having to buy stuff we already had to complete a droid.

Yepper, the B.A.D. promotion was the smartest one I believe Hasbro has ever had. I do think they may regret doing away with it.

I for one WONT be getting any of the New Vintage Figures, for what Hasbro has said that this will bring back collectors, they haven't and wont be taking my money, its all basically Repacks, so they have lost them selves a collector
after the legacy debacle here in OZ in the last 12 months they have really let me down personally, i am at the verge of getting rid of all my Hasbro figures... i am over all their excuses and i totally agree with Jay that Vintage/Legacy style  will only be available in the U.S in 6 to 12 months, and we will be flooded with Clone Wars figures which i care even less about not to mention that CW hasn't even been aired here since season 1 episode 12, how in the world can Hasbro say CW are their biggest sellers from kids Market when the kids here DON'T EVEN KNOW WHO THESE CHARACTERS ARE on our Pegs? It is all i see And they DON'T even sell!!

A well-built sniper rifle is a beautiful thing. Ours has two zoom modes, "Up close and personal" and "Hello, you're dead

I agree with you some, about the repacks there and there is only a few in the first couple of waves that I actually want. It upsets me when I hear people praising Hasbro for giving us Vintage packaging. I need more than a package to buy their product. It also upsets me to see people voting on what figures they want released and people keep nominating figures that don't need updating until they produce the rest of the unreleased figures 1st. I'm tired of updates. sorry for venting, I just been surfing around and seeing what people are voting for and the only thing I can figure, is that most of the people voting are younger fans who haven't been collecting for long. Really, after seeing the paint jobs on some of these new Vintage line, Hasbro should be ashamed of themselves. They need to go back to the drawing board.

This might be the only wave of figures I get all year. If it wasn't for that walker and the vehicles I am not sure I wouldn't be filling in some older gaps, which I still might.

Thats the great thing about living in a free country,  you can whine whenever you wan't!

Back to hasbro, once I get my hands on my new atat I will let you know if my gripes are warranted. Still, thinking folks will buy old figs with just new packaging is a business practice that invites disaster. It will be interesting to see if Lucas gives Hasbro the rights after 2018.
