hi all just got myself a blu-ray player  what blu ray discs should i buy to go with it . any  decent ones i should  own .

I picked up 2012, yesterday. It looked and sounded pretty sweet. you should find season 1 of the clone wars. The improvement is phenomenal.

My first two were cars and sky high.

I tend to avoid animation from DC, as the upscaling does just as well.

Clone wars in HD is pretty sweet, though.

I"m big on sound and sight, so if you want to blow your neighbors away, I suggest Independence Day.  Seriously, it's sick.  Shreck the Third looked amazing, and Horton Hears a Who was so freaking incredible, it looked like a cartoon elephant in the real world.  Transformers 1 and 2 were awesome, as was Star Trek.  Action and animation movies are the best.
