I love the background images you've chosen, they are perfect, you have is natural talent, your composition, the way you position your subjects shows an ability to balance your artwork perfectly. I am amazed at what you have achieved, both images are fantastic.
You have grasped the basics on how to manipulate images, cutting them and pasting them into another image, next is colour tone and shadows! Also you need to begin to sample the text effects available to you. I can see that you are a quick learner, and with your talent it won't be long before you are working your way around Photoshop and all of it's tools with ease.
Photoshop is a powerful tool and you are now taking your first steps into a larger world!!!
