This is for Trandoshanslaver1138.  He asked that I create a Mandalorian of ancient times.  There was to be a samurai influence, as well.

This is Ro Nin, from a colony of Mandalorians that were trying to survive in the uncharted outer planet of the Outer Rim, Ainu III.  This is about 2000 years BBY.  They began with peaceful coexistence with a population of other humans on the other side of the planet.  Mining rights and land hoarding became an issue and major battles were being fought.  In the end the Mandalorians won and adopted the other humans into their culture.

Here's something inspired a little by a an old tale.  Guess which one.

Redianish "Red" Sloven during the post-Civil War years and was invited to join the Jedi Order when Luke Skywalker came upon when visiting Draco IV.  She was still young but had heard all about the heroic deeds of Luke and the Rebellion.  Now she's doing heroic deeds all across the galaxy.

Gre-Si "Wolf" Erok ran with the mercenary group, Nova Blade (a mini bio is on pg 39), and when they left Zinj's group they took on jobs for the Republic.  Wolf left the mercs when he helped "Red" in a situation and decided it wasn't too bad a gig to do.  Helping others for free.   Go figure.

The samurai Mando is really nice!  Love when historical connections are used heavily to influence a great custom fig.

Awesome work, my friend!

Light side, dark side...meh.  Just give me a lightsaber and a blaster and I'll take care of it!

I almost used Japanese modernization for the background but I didn't want to get too "The Last Samurai" on it.

Hey, nice recoloring on the snow bunny suit there, makes for a nice jedi.
The exploits of my life are less canonical than they are legendary.

Nic Tor'neg is a Siniteen Jedi of the Old Republic.  He was one of Yoda's first Padawans.  Before achieving the rank of Master, "Nic", sat on the High Council as the Jedi Knight representative.
