Alright guys, I got some more done on Boba. I took a VC Boba belt and hollowed/thinned it out as much as I could. Had to take the Joe legs off and squeeze that belt on. It fits so snug I don't need to glue it on. Found a crotch armor resin piece I had laying around so I stuck that under the front of the belt, just need to paint it later. Also as you can probably tell I used Aves fixit around the shin and thigh pockets because there were huge gaps in between the pockets and the legs. In the second pic you can see I cut out a VC Boba holster and slid it under the back of the belt.

Alright, after about 4 hours of more drilling and dremel work I got Boba's armor almost ready. Still need a little clean up around the edges. As you can see in the pics I managed to salvage the neck area of the Bespin Battle Pack Boba. I drilled a hole in it so the Joe neck goes right through it, as well as a hole in the back plate so the side cape can be attached. I am going to make a cloth vest that goes under the armor pieces. I think I might leave the chest plate in tact... not sure yet. I also did more dremel work on the knees and wrists to prevent paint rub later. In case you couldn't tell the collar and back plate are still connected to each other. I also grinded off the VC Boba's shoulder armor and got the Bespin BP Boba shoulder armor ready.

Man you are doing such awesome work on him it is tempting me to track one of those Bespin BP bobas and try it myself. The helmet is gorgeous. Absolutely the best Hasbro has made yet. Hmm wonder if there are cheap one on ebay...

I got mine at TJ Maxx. They had about 5 of them, should have picked up two. They were selling for just $12.99.

Well I might try and check my local Maxx then soon. I just looked him up on evilbay and he is selling for 20 bucks for a five poa pos no way! I would still need the belt for him too. Maybe Maxx will come through for me.

Alright guys got a little more done on ol' Boba today. I sanded his armor plates down a little thinner and make him a cloth vest. I still don't know how Darklord1967 got his vest to be so perfect. I guess I just need to do it a few more times. Anyway, I'm still glad about what I was able to accomplish. I just need to get him some Wookie braids and a power cord for his right gauntlet and paint him up a bit.
