I found that doing 1:6 scale is a lot easier than 3-3/4 scale, in general, because everything is a lot bigger.  Plus, getting things like pouches and other accessories are a lot easier than finding similar items in 3-3/4.  At the same time though, you'll see that your work will get far more detailed, and you'll find that mistakes just aren't as easy to cover up.  Also parts hunting takes a whole new level of expense and time.  Can't wait to see what you're going to do man! There is a little toy store by me that has tons of 1/6 scale stuff, I guess I'm lucky as far as supply goes. Like I said, I'll give it a shot and see how it goes.

now now everyone play nice ;D  you'll have to forgive Biege 4  he actually didnt mean anything by it ,Tom our British sense of humour can be very "wink wink ,nudge nudge ,Wahey!"  at times ,i myself thought "oooh errrr"  ;)  and chuckled to myself  when i read it   lol,us brits do like our double entandres  ,just watch some british Carry On  films and you'll know what i mean .....

I just joined up here at the Yards; thought your version of a Spartan/Roman/gladiator warrior is awesome!  Great job on piecing together the kama, sandals, and chest armor to create him!
