BRO! DUDE!  That guy is nine kinds of AWESOME!!  That is one of the coolest concept-to-execution figs I've ever seen!
Thanks Doc! I have one more thing I'm going to add to this figure then he'll be finished, finally!!! I'm glad at least one of my buddies commented.

Here is the Spartan. Finished! Sparta was the first country to have a truly professional military, and their contribution to defeating the persian invasion preserved the bases for western culture, such as democracy, philosophy, and science.

That is flipping amazing!  As a history teacher, I can appreciate that to no end; spot-on work!

Light side, dark side...meh.  Just give me a lightsaber and a blaster and I'll take care of it!

I can appreciate that comment too. I have been known to dabble in social studies a bit myself.

This next custom is a remake of my Fallout Vegas custom. Spudafett gave me some ideas on how to improve him, so I went with it and this is the result. I dry brushed his whole body with desert sand acrylic paint since Las Vegas is in the desert.  8)

Cobra Shock Trooper helmet & gasmask
Beach Head normal comic pack head
Reactive Armor Duke torso
Reactive Armor Heavy Duty arms
Paris Pursuit SE coat & legs
Snake Eyes backpack, I think ROC commando
ROC Cobra trooper belt w/ holster
Wild Bill revolver painted black w/ charcoal drybrushing

Charcoal drybrushing. Now there's a technique i haven't seen done in a while.

Nice rework of this figure, Tom. What a varied mix of parts you used on him.

I love that Spartan... and I agree, the Drybrushing on the latest one really brings out all the goodness of the custom.

Alright here is a TCW RC. All of his addons are resin copies I made except for the helmet. That came from CloneHead. His sniper rifle is a custom I made a long time ago.
