Fair enough, repacking crappy figures is a bad move, but I don't see a problem keeping popular figures on the pegs, regardless of when they were released prior. Personally, I am very excited about the Vintage line, I don't agree with any of the points Jay made. I do not see a higher price point other than the ones charged in specialist stores, due to the fact the figures are imported. This happens even now & no one complains. High street retailers that decide to carry this line will charge the £7.99 we have come to expect. Regardless of whether or not there are a couple of figures in a wave you may not like, someone else will. If you can't get excited about a new toy line because there are a couple of figures you don't like included in a wave & all you are going to throw at it is negativity, maybe you are best off settling for what you have in your collection currently, rather than allowing your expectations (should you have any) to be drowned when the line is revealed. I realize not everyone will agree with me, but I cannot stand to see non-stop negativity towards a new product... it takes the fun out of collecting. I firmly believe that the people who say "put a group of Star Wars fans on the creative team at Hasbro, as we know more than they do" need to stop talking crap (Take Yarna & Willrow Hood for example) Fans BEGGED for those 2 figures to be released, but when they were, they were met with nothing but negative responses, if you don't like what Hasbro put out on the table for YOU, then keep your mouths shut! Enjoy the line for what it is, and if it bothers you that much, buy the figures you want & leave the repacks to the kids & other collectors who never got the figures in the first place.
