That is an awesome display of zombie goodness if I do say so myself. Loved your Bday Costume by the way.

Time to go share some of this.

Speaking of being busy, I was able to get quite a bit done this weekend as well I am one a huge zombie kick and want to make a large army of all kinds of them which I have slowly been doing here and there.

I was thinking and thinking about this riot zombie I received from Sithhappens last week and I wanted to make the figure I did based off of him as close to the WD fig as I could. I took a Montezuma head cast also from SH and added the necessary desiccated flesh over the skull. The eyes were a little tricky and i had to use my magnifier headset to get them just right. I am very happy with the result and you can see the comparison pic below to see how close I was able to get.

While working on that little project I also continued to work on SH's dio stand for his portrait Zombie killer fig. I got the idea to add the signpost to the stand and gave the signs the names of places in the walking dead show since he is a huge WD fan.

Lastly, I through together this tie pilot deathtrooper using one of the zombie head mods I did for the ISY exclusive zombie head pack. After painting it it is much easier to see his little tongue hanging out.

well there it is for this week's installment. Hope you all like!

a couple of Zombie headsculpts I worked on last night:

This one is the Cobra Shocktrooper, Just cut a hole in the side of his head and took a sawed off zombie deadite face and stuck it in there. Sculpted over the gap tp make it look like ripped up balaclava/flesh. Painied pics of this soon. Sithhappens Mikey has already said he will be casting this. :)

Since I did the Walking dead riot zombie with the flip down visor I had to do the gasmask one as well. Jetpackblues and I have dubbed this guy Ol' Peely Face since his skin has petrified to the mask so badly that when the mask comes off the skin does as well to reveal a bloddy gore soaked skullface. The Walking dead figure has that peel away feature which I thought would be a fun challenge to achieve in a 1:18 scale figure. The face has been cut off and glued to the inside of the mask here which yoiu can see just barely in my pic(keep in mind this is just an iPhone pic). The skull is being resculpted so that the layer of skin will sit flush with the edge of the peeled face on the mask. Bottom right pic is the WD figures head for reference.
