I have been pondering doing a 1:18 Shredder for a good while now and have been seeing some great versions of it online lately. However, PRS blew me a away with his take on Super Shredder he just recently posted. I liked how he used the Crysis 2 Nano suit and knew I had a 1:18 version I had bought for customs a few months back. So, with his fig as inspiration I started build my own. Here is the bashed fig 90% ready for priming:

I went through 3 shredders to make this fig. The head [piece is from the new TMNT Shredder and the armor is from the good old vintage one. I plan on giving him some accessories too just not sure what yet.

couple quick shots of my arctic dio stand here. The "snow" texture was made with just sand and glue as I mentioned on CAFN during Ron's interview. I had to test out my theory ;). All I did to finish it up was add a bit of dry grass coming out of the snow and i drybrushed the figure stand with silver. I will hopefully get some better shots of it this weekend.

Did you just mix glue with the sand?

Sweet do! I use "washed sand" to create sand texture in my dios as well.

Great idea...nice and simple and it looks like it took a lot more time to make than it probably did.

A great piece!

Light side, dark side...meh.  Just give me a lightsaber and a blaster and I'll take care of it!
