R4-CX20
During the Clone Wars the Republic comissioned a mobile broad spectrum communications array ,the idea was that it could be deployed with individual Companies for deep penetration missions behind enemy lines ,
Industrial Automaton's answer was to use its award winning and immensly successful R2 astromech chassis and heavily upgrade it with 1 highband and 1 lowband broad spectrum comms antenna's, numerous encryption and cypher tools plus limited slicing capabilities ,it also had the R3/4 upgraded logic centers  and holoprojectors ,due to the very high cost per unit the RCX series was also fitted with an off the shelf  FondorTech DX90 shield generator of which the shield projector was fitted on the droids front left hand side in a bid to increase the droids battlefield survivability .it saw action in the Clone Wars in extremely limited numbers, mainly due to its cost.
Most RCX series astromechs are renowned for having very lofty attitudes to most other droids and have a tendancy to sulk.

Very nice.  I especially like the doodads and antennas on this guy.  I still can't believe how you can paint such fine details on things like the buttons.  I like how the red buttons aren't just red but have an orange mixed in that makes it more realistic, as if there is a backlight.  Good stuff.
