 heres a new astromech for you and something else....

R5-P4

R5-P4 is a  maintenance astromech that belongs to the azzameen family and helps service  their vast fleet of vessels. and is stationed at their main base of operations.



here he is standing by a vessel that R5 is very familiar with ,  R5 was active with the republic fleet during the clone wars and serviced many of these particular vessels.







(due to his extensive experience with the quirks of this ship R5-P4 is the only droid the azzameens allow to service this ship unsupervised)

It is a Kuat Drive Yards   ARV-20  a Scout Class vessel which was used in the very early days of the Clone Wars, Republic Pilots nicknamed the ARV-20 "the Flea" and it  had an even shorter lifespan than the illfated "Valkyrie" it was lightly armed and armoured ,but had a blistering turn of speed , a hyperdrive and a very sophisticated sensor package. unfortunatly the navicomp could only hold one jump coordinate at a time and with much better vessels being introduced "The Flea " became obsolete very quickly ,and was retired from service only 8 months into the conflict. Many are now used as runabouts and have been upgraded with more powerful blasters and better shields and tend to be employed as light patrol vessels especially in the Outer Rim and Wild Space regions.The ARV you see here is in its original Clone Wars Deco and has been restored by the Azzameens(altho the shield generators and weapons systems have been heavily upgraded)  to its former glory.

Very nice Jay. First off I love the Azzameens maintenance droid. Great call on his designation. Now the mini rig or ship, very cool. nice touch removing the upper wing. The paint and decals really put it over the top. Also nice little story line to go along with the group. I can't wait for Jules to see this.
