its been a while since i did an astromech so let me introduce..
R2-P2R2-P2 was an astromech assigned to Rancor 9 (Y-wing) during the battle of Kamino ,his crew were Raptor(pilot) & Slasher(gunner) ,he had an extremely temperamental personality (caused by a slight power surge during a routine memory wipe) but with his crew he was reliable and a superb mechanic ,but in the past he did have a tendancy to tinker with the fighter he was assigned to sometimes with mixed results , for example ,he managed to boost Rancor 9's engine performance by 5%,and in another tinkering session he decided he would see how much power he could save during a flight , he managed to save a whopping 20% . unfortunatly he managed to save this enormous figure by turning off the repulsorlifts ..........during a landing(resulting in the aforementioned memory wipe )
it is unknown what happened to him after the Clone Wars ...........
