Picked up a Titanium (Galoob) Y-wing and TIE Fighter today. For $6 each it was hard to pass up. Also got another Luke in X-wing gear for custom purposes.

Well I can't call this a purchase at it is a current promotion we have going on with Hasbro, but take a look at the box of goodies I had on my doorstep Friday evening.

Many of these items will make it into our Birthday Bash Custom Challenge Prize List!

This very large tie fighter followed me home today from Independence Mo TRU
I got to use a 15% off coupon and a $5 off coupon.
Still, I was on the fence. The box is pretty large. It's a little scary.

I have to admit, the new movie has released some really cool concepts on toys.  Black being used more heavily is cool to me, and I like the new armors used quite a bit.  Where's that darned Scout Trooper update??  Still, this horrible trend by Hasbro to use the 5 POA is atrocious.  Funny how they cite cost as being the reason, yet the toys are even more expensive now.  Not just Star Wars, but this has now bled over into their other lines like Marvel.  The 6" figures is the way to go if you want quality detail, but the $20 price point has me way turned off.  Still, I like to walk by the aisles and look, once again.  It takes me back to 10 years ago or so when I enjoyed spending my day off driving all over creation to look for the new figures!

I hear you about the toy isle, Pat.
My collecting has more of a focus now, thanks to big H and the "forced 5-POA "lines.

Brought home Poe and Phasma from my nearest tru today, and left their case mates behind.

I'm noticing a disturbingly unfamiliar trend of being able to find the toys I want in the SW isle for a change.

Seeing these really takes me back to TPM, when TRU had their midnight opening for the new toys.  I remember wanting to purchase 5, and walking out with all 23 (including variants) from the first release, and wondering how they all played part in the upcoming movie.  Seeing these new ones, I'm getting that same feeling, wondering who's going to be around for Episode VIII and what role they'll have in the saga!  Captain Phasma being a woman is very intriguing!

Phasma looks great Clint. Poe is not really doing anything for me, but Phasma, one of those I will own.

Got my riot stormie and Poe two pack in the mail from target.com yesterday.

Sweet packaging, I got mine too. I like em. I found a Phasma thanks to some help from a good friend.

I also got in the new Amazon four pack and man they are sweet too. I also ordered my daughter about a hundred bucks of SW Stuff or Xmas! She is loving Phasma and I am loving life she likes it!
