December turned out to be a very fun festive month for me. In my country (the Netherlands) we have a very old tradition called "Sinterklaas", which roughly translates to Santa Claus. It's really a little children's festivity, but once they're 6-7-8 old they don't believe in the white bearded good doer anymore, but the tradition will go on with buying gifts for each other, accomponied with rhymes and custom made surprise boxes. Basically, a Secret Santa round with a little bit extra. This year, a fellow Star Wars fan was my "Secret Santa" and she made one helluva BB-8 surprise box out of styrofoam. Check him out on the right in this pic:

BB-8 did not contain the missing piece to the map locating the whereabouts of Luke Skywalker, but did hand me the Lego Wookiee Gunship Microfighter. Very nice gift, but the custom made BB-8 was an even greater gift
Furthermore, my girlfriend and I had ourselves a "12 Days of Christmas" gift round, which resulted in even more Star Wars goodies for me:
- The Making of Star Wars hardcover (most awesome book!)
- Lego Star Wars 2016 Advent Calendar
- Revell Millennium Falcon model kit (haven't built a kit in ages!)
- Stormtrooper savings jar (gonna save up for the next SWC in the US!!!)
- Hotwheels Chopper character car
- Lego Ghost w/Hera Microfighter (awesome little vehicle)
- Happy Sithmas Vader sweater
Naturally, I'm one happy geek
