Topic: New Star Wars Purchases

$5 is just insane for the A-wing fighter alone. I got one from most of releases... But this design and size of the toy are really great. Going to use most as customs (so please ANYONE offer color scheme ideas!). Took one fully apart last night, it has quite a few pieces surprisingly. My plan is to atleast lightly kit (cover screw holes etc.) and detail/dark wash it and see how it turns out. I'll post a step by step since I was surprised how easily it can be completed.

My store literally got like 50-60+ of these and just has them stacked high next to the front door. So I'll just keep grabbing some... 5x a trip.

..... Also randomly stopped in BEST BUY yesterday they obviously don't care about SW since it's all on "sale" was surprised to see the VC for $8 but I don't buy those  since  I think its a waste of money for mostly repacks... Being a loose/lot collector myself.

Also SEARS has the current VC (solo wave) and BS fleet trooper/Tobias wave if anyone hunts for these. My local store has not sold any SW since they got them... I don't think anyone knows hahahaha they even sell toys!... Well since the early 1990's

Soooo... I guess every day I find SW toys?!?! Yesterday I randomly went into Gamestop and the location had 3X BS DEWBACKS for $24 each. I was excited till I opened them... Wow underscaled!!!

But tonight... An hour ago... was toooo funny... A local supermarket chain put out x-mas toys in the front of the store and next to a SW operation board game was full cases of TLJ 5POA WAVE 1 marked... "2 for $5"!!!! I nearly fell over as fast as grabbed all 10x  of the stromtroopers!!! So keep a look out folks! The merchandise fail of TLJ just keeps giving over and over! JUST in time a for the holidays!

My local dive bar is having a Toys for tots thing Saturday. So I went to Five Below and got a hot wheels millennium falcon and TIE fighter two pack, and the TLJ A-wing. Then for girls, I got a pink sloth and some kind of gypsy Barbie. I dunno. But yeah they had more 6" figures than Walmart. Baze, Chirrut, jyn, krennic death trooper. I think I saw a scarif trooper in there. I dunno, I'm not interested in 6" anymore.

Ohh yeah, and Kmart.com had TVC tank drivers 50% off, but I ended up getting a jyn and Kylo Ren. *sigh*

Picked up a TVC Doctor Aphra today at Walmart for $9!

Very nice! That's the PRICE (and assortment/selection  ) that haSLOW has to have as a standard. I see all the VC tank drivers etc. And want but its  crazy when I don't even pay the MSRP of a 6" (by comparison) so why bother? I spend more time/money tonight even trying to decide on buying 10 TLJ POE PILOT figures for $25 at the supermarket  hahahahah.

Found a TFA Admiral Ackbar at one of the bargain stores in Passaic!

This was one of the last few figures from this line I wanted (the other being Maz Kanata).

Yea that Ackbar is really great. love the mouth articulation. Definitely one of the best TFA figures... Same with Maz I ended up getting a dozen atleast of those 4 packs since they were $4 eventually at Gamestop hahaha
