Nice finds Philipp, love seeing that turret even though its missing the front piece.

Commander Bacara you will have great fun with. Think that is what he is called anyhow.

Nice! This tank looks great with fantastic details & paint work! Have you already gotten it out of the box? I’m glad you got one and that this great vehicle is still available.
Are you going to build a Diorama for it, too?

Yeah the detailing on it is amazing. I opened it, and I'm just displaying it on a shelf with a few figures. :)

I got the Tatooine Skiff yesterday from Amazon.com.

Wow, they both arrived in excellent condition! I was gonna say you got the two best vehicles released for general retail of the last 7 years there! The Desert Skiff is just an incredible update of this classic vehicle! I'm extremely happy you could get them & wish you much fun with them! Let's see if I can find a Skiff to add to my collection, too...

Thanks for sharing all the good news!

Tamer: Thanks Shawn! I was very surprised to have found this turret and knew it would be gone within minutes. So I didn't take the time to carefully look at the pictures and compare them to archive photos (which I usually do). But for less than 8 bucks I can't complain. Can't wait to restore it.

Talking about restoration I found a ROTS Republic Gunship in pretty good shape today! So my Saturday morning began with a 20 minute ride to meet the guy selling it (actually his wife made him to).
The description said "pick-up only" and I asked him how much he wanted for it. He said 35€ (~$38) and he even gave me six figures on top. I told him and his wife that they could take more for that, but they just wanted to get rid of it. "It takes too much space." So they showed me their appreciation for taking it by giving me a Stormtrooper lamp on top for free!

So only two parts are missing, which I could replace instantly with some resin parts.

You can see how I restore vehicles like this here:

To my surprise all 12 missles from the wing and door areas are included:

Find out where I found those barrels with the help of JDeck click here:

Yeah, I think I just got lucky with the “pick up only“...I missed a lot of other good stuff just because it was too far away.

But there are actually quite a few Gunships on the market now - all of the sudden. They usually only pop up in the wild once in a while. Another one in the same shape was sold for about  60€ last week...

My mother-in-law picked up these "Star Wars" vehicles for me today at Burlington!

I passed on them when they first came out due to their insane $29.99 retail price but they are now $6.99 at Burlington.

I figured this would be full of Triple Force Friday things. Anyone see the Vintage X-Wing on the front page?

Most of the stores in my area had NOTHING in stock for Triple Force Friday.

I only got the Skiff. I wanted a Zorii Bliss and Knight Of Ren but saw none. The only new figures I saw were a few X-Wing Lukes and a Rey.

I went to five stores, and only bought four items total because of poor availability, or no stock at all! So I got the Mando, Carbonized Mando, TVC Zorri, and TVC Knight of Ren. Also got the Brachiosaurus from Target that day as well, which was the most important thing!

Later that day I ordered Poe’s TVC X-Wing, which I recieved today. The freaking engines are warped, so returning that. :( It’s a really cool vehicle overall, but it just reminds me that I should stick to OT focused items. The sculpt is great, but I don’t really have any ST dioramas or scenes to use it in.

Edit- Note that’s the back of two wings are dirtier than the others (which is an easy weathering fix), but one engine is significantly darker than the entire ship as well.

Wow, that is one messed up X-Wing. Might go for one of the Luke ones in the vintage box. I haven't seen anything myself. Gonna have to etail stuff if I want it I do believe.
