With the availability of ships nowadays and how much smaller they are making them yes I would, especially on that sealed TIE in the vintage box.

I absolutely agree with you, Tamer! Thank you for your comment!

So I immediately sent the seller a request because I knew many people would! And I was the first one, indeed! The seller sold me these 7 ships for 215€ (~$230) inclusding shipping instead of 235€. So I ended up paying less than $33 per vehicle shipped!

The pictures above were all that were provided.

I paid immediately via PayPal (Family & Friends - no safety!), which was pretty risky and incredibly dumb of me.
But the package did arrive! Lucky me. I alslo found the seller on Facebook if that'd help in the worst case. I asked the seller after payment and he found me some missing parts, but by far not all!
The ships arrived pretty dusty and some with fishing line - so I suppose they hung at the ceiling for some time (years)...

They were all washed with soap & water before I took the following pictures.

Sounds too good to be true? Yes, it does!

They were not packed & secured well, so here comes my LOL Surprise!

Yellowing in full progress!

Here you can clearly see the impact of the sunlight over time along the edges!
You can read what you can do about it in my other topic after the jump:

A common issue of the Slave I is the fact that Han's nose rubs off and becomes flat over time if you frequently insert the carbonite block into the slot at the cockpit. I might be able to fix that crack with epoxy resin and maybe recast the missing cannon. The only advantage of this purchase is that I could finally complete my other loose TVC Slave I.

Forum member Mr.Black inspired me big time with his repaint of the Slave I. So maybe in some years I dare to repaint one of my spare samples, too! Check out his custom here:

The Y-Wing is the only loose ship that arrived in somewhat good condition except for a missing antenna for the Astromech and some minor scratches.

The Snowspeeder has also yellowed at some spots. The hatch of the X-Wing's front landing gear is missing, but the TIE Interceptor can be fixed with some black dry-brushing.

Still a good deal? Please, let me know what you think.

Wow, I think you got a deal even though perhaps some of these weren't described as they should have been.

I got the Jedi Luke Skywalker, from the Skywalker 3 pack exclusive. I ended up getting it from Tunghori, for $20 or something like that. I'd say he's the best of the  three. My Jabba's Palace display is a free for all now, with multiple scenes in one. It's coming along.

I am anxious to see how your Palace display is turning out. Good ole Tunghori.

Very nice! Your Throne Room for Jabba looks amazing! I'm glad you could get the Jedi Knight version of Luke! I got the Destiny Pack myself, but don't want to open it, yet. Still so much loose stuff that yet needs to be labeled! lol
Honestly, I haven't purchased anything from good ole tunghori in a while! I've probably spent almost $2,000 on him so far, but he's become too expensive by now and I'm not willing to pay that money anymore.
I only buy from him when there's no other option...

It's often worth to take a closer look...

Found these figures from back of the good ole days on ebay last week. These TAC to TVC masterpieces were in the mailbox today:

I'm especially happy about the blaster rifle of HK-50 (B-A-D Wave 12: Empire Strikes Back).
Icecream Maker Guy was sold already (for 7,50€!), but the seller was kind enough to give me this loose accessory! I'd never expected to find this piece somewhere to complete my HK-50! Now he's only missing his right leg!

And this is where I found them:

Hey, that's cool, Dan! Those ERGs are quite hard to find! I really dig the sculpt! They do perfectly fine for every diorama even with less articulation!
Nice addition to your massive collection!

Reason #104 why I'm staying single lol.  I'm pretty good about not spending a whole lot on figures, but diorama materials, I can drop a Hundo at the hobby shop no problem.

This post made my day JD! Very true. Oh, and that's a good point. Materials can take quite some cash, too...

Found more custom fodder online:

I'm glad I finally got the TSC C-3PO. I got the throne already also for 4€. He'd look nice on JDeck's latest display project:

I'm going to be a copycat, too...StarAlien70 and RC-1136 inspired me to make some Rebel Officers of the Russian Soldiers and another Kaminoan character of Taun We...

See the projects of StarAlien70 here:
