Nice finds, Philipp! Happy that you could complete the Retro 2-packs. You can now recreate the AT-ST scene in ROTJ where Chewie and Co. blow up the other walker :)

That's a great idea! Tom Ferris shared this on Facebook a couple days ago. Brilliant idea to have the view from the bunker's entrance.

Nice, but I prefer Hoth version of all the AT-St. Even the one based on the original vintage mold.

Yes, I can relate to that. The Hoth version is the very best with lots of good memories. You can use it in every environment with no brown spots and weathering. It's even superior to the TLC/TBS exclusive versions with a lighter shade of grey.  Thank for your comments Darth Revenge! They're always inspiring.

Today, it was a terrible Monday to take the car downtown. So many accidents here in Dresden and the roads were just jammed. So on my way back from work I stopped by at SmythsToys and got myself one of the remaining 2 Stormtroopers and the Vader (of 6) with the best paint applications off the pegs!

It's hard to believe that they're over 100 VC numbers apart and still on pegs together. So in fear of missing out on the Stormtrooper once again I ended up paying 20€ for him and got Vader for 15€.

Nice find, Philipp! Though 20 euros seems a steep price for a Stormtrooper.

All of those are great finds.
I'm so glad I basically don't collect anymore.
There's a lot of good stuff out there.
I'd be spending so much money that I shouldn't, the wife would
have me living at the end of the driveway until I learned fiscal responsibility.

 ;D I get that completely.

Thank you, Jeff! I agree, it is steep. The MRSP for TVC at SmythsToys and other vendors was raised to 22,99€ ($25.75 USD) here in Germany recently. This hobby becomes unaffordable for more and more fans and long term collectors. And I think Di$ney must reconsider their license fees, which are at 30% as far as I know.

Hey Franck, thanks for the heads-up! I'd love to see a store report from France! Is there a place where you can find Star Wars figures? I'm sure Amazon is a good source also to get TVC figures for 19,99€ or less.
But this hobby has become extremely expensive, indeed! Thanks for your comment and let me know if you're looking for anything specific. Maybe I can help out. Also ebay has always been the best source for the hobby since 2005.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, DarthHawk! I agree, great stuff out there, but also for a premium. Price hikes have long left the comfort zone for this hobby.
I have the same discussions and I think no material can replace a loving relationship. I support my girlfriend with everything she's doing and cheer her hobbies. I show interest in what she does.
Not so much vice versa though, which is unfortunate. I haven't seen much acceptance by any woman for our hobby over the years. But I stay true to myself and to what brings me joy. It's a topic on its own.
To me it's important that a wife shows at least respect to her husband's hobby and lets him spend his money on the things he likes.

On my ride across the country today, I stopped by at SmythsToys to get Captain Rex because he's sold out in Dresden. Fortunately I found a couple in good shape and with perfect paint applications.

Also I received a package from the U.S. with some stickers I had been looking for since 2008!
I finally found them on RedBubble! Check them out! They're available in translucent, glossy and mat.
One of them definitely goes on my car. For the Republic!

I bought three more sets from the same seller whom I got the ROTS Droid Tri Fighter from a couple weeks ago. He told me that he added a couple things to make good for the missing sticker sheet.
And this is what I received, yesterday:

The Vulture Droid was 40€. He gifted me a TCW Commando Droid! Never saw one of those on pegs.

The Droid Scout Tank cost 39 Deutsche Mark back in 1999. The Naboo Flash Speeder was 59 DM 25 years ago. When the Euro was introduced back in 2002 we only received one Euro for 2 Deutsche Mark. Our money was only worth half the amount in Euro while prices stayed the same.
Anyways I love when boxes still have their original price tag on. I paid 35€ for both.

And this post was another massive surprise! It's in great condition, super huge and I'm going to frame it!

What a generous gift...

I love that ROTJ poster with the walker on it. Great stuff. Glad to see folks are finding things. My shelves are bare. I mean bare.

Yes, that poster was a major surprise! Had never seen it before...

Amazon Germany had some decent deals recently too.
Got a TVC R2 and 2 medium vehicles of Micro Galaxy Squadron for 13,99€ each -5% extra.
Found another Stormtrooper out in the wild yesterday (SmythToys) for 14,90€, which my brother decided to give to me. Th LEGO set was 18,09€ instead of 29,99€.
The Black Series 6" figures were 23,08€ each instead of 29,99€.
