Thank you Clint

Today I received your realistic Pre Vizsla. The quality of the figure is absolutely amazing.
I'm lost for words.
I don't know how you made the markings on the shoulder and on his helmet but they are outstanding.
Thank you so much for the figure. It is an honor for me to have it in my collection.

Christoph, you are quite welcome. It humbles me to think that one of my customs is graced by the presence of your masterful works in possibly the same display area. In the past, I used to sell alot of custom figures and it still warms my heart today to think that I have up to 100 different custom figures displayed in peoples collections in about 25 different countries.

I am glad that you like him, buddy. I can't think of a more safe place for that figure to call home.

i'm still amazed at your detail in that figure clint.  He'll definately be right at home with christoph's collection of mandos he's got going.

again, congrats on your winning the competition if I hadn't said that already.  I realy loved your at-at driver repaint, the camo patern was realy unique and truly inspiring.  One thing I will probably do when the time comes for me to customize an at-at is make a jungle commando at-at with a set of jungle camo figs using this as inspiration.

Thanks Wattoh, I am just shy of hopping into that RC workup again.

Guys, I have locked and stickeyd my 1st custom figure thread here.

i have deleted all of our wonderful member's replies and some of my own, leaving only the posts that have pics and wip info in them, shrinking that thread from a whopping 124 pages to 35, making it alot easier to look through.

I had read through the entire thread again prior to shrinking it and want to thank everyone for their wonderful praise there.

Here's hoping that this 2nd custom figure thread grows just as large and as quickly.

Long live the Shipyards!!!

Yes, I know that it's been too long since I posted here but as I have the week off and am caught up on my orders, let's get right to it.
When we last looked at this RC figure, He was still needing touchup paint work, the bare metal foil applied on his visor, and some accessory work.
first off, I hopped into the tedious task of applying the bare metal foil to his visor. Afterwards, I applied a dark grey line around the visor and will need to touch up this area with the old concrete color along with around the rest of the detail lines on his body and equipment.

Now to continue with his backpack. I had cut off the nozzles previously to mold them and this backpack and want to dress it up with something different. I already knew that I wanted to use one of those ROC joe pouches where scorch's dc17 rocket launcher ammo would normally go so I thought it might be cool to mount one of those leg ammo pieces on either side of the backpack. One resin and one hasbro. I drilled a hole in either side of the backpack to receive the pegs and there you have it. It looks nice and beefy just the way that I had hoped it would.

And here are some more shots of him wearing the backpack. in a couple i have set that roc joe pouch on his leg where I am going to mount it. "yes, the pouch needs to be touched up as well"

I got a little ways left to go on this one but am getting closer.
