Thanks guys. You are quite welcome, Shawn. I'm happy to do it.

Alright, back to the RC..........I said that I wanted to add a couple more details to his "ole painless" gun. Fire trooper had suggested that I add some control wires from the grenade launching mount to the trigger assembly so, I dug out some fine gauge braided line and turned aluminum fittings that model car builders use and went to work. First, I fed a small fitting onto the braided line and glued the fitting into place with some of the line sticking out at the mounting point. Using my pin vise, I drilled a receiving hole and glued the fitting end to the back of one side of the launcher mount and then repeated these steps for the other side. Then, I chose a larger fitting and fed both loose ends of the braided lines through it. I positioned the fitting along the lines where it would look right and trimmed the loose end so it would protrude through the large fitting a little bit. I then drilled a bigger hole in the back of the gun handle and then glued the loose ends and larger fitting into place. That finishes the control lines. Afterwards, i trimmed a couple of numbers from a military kit decal sheet and water transferred them to the body of the gun.

I took a few shots of our rc with his finalized peace keeper but I am still having issues finding a decent light source. Man, I wish that the sun would come out for some natural light shots.

You have such an attention to detail. That gun looks even more intimidating with something as small as wires outside. Bravo Sir great job.

Great custom.  The paint, the wire work and water decals.  A show stopper that commands respect.  Simply awesome.

WOW!! Is about all I can say. That is the meanest figure and weapon combo I've ever seen.

Thanks again, gracious shipyarders, from the bottom of my heart. That was a fun finish. I do have some sunshine so perhaps I can squeeze a couple outdoor snapshots of him today.

LE, those fittings and the braided line are made by a company called Model Car Garage and come in various guages but are a bit pricey as I recall. I used to be big into model cars and would wire and plumb the engines and such. I still have alot of the detailing products for that hobby that I used to use. I have this one photoetched nickle set that contains all of the gaskets and spacers for a 350 small block in 1/25th scale.

I did paint some on a skinny clone that I had started some time ago and originally was going to paint up as a Ryloth boil with a removable helmet but since Hasbro went and released that figure before I finished mine, I will have to do something else with him.
