Its the little details like that that can make or break a custom, and you've once again made a hell of a figure!

Wow, I think my head may burst from all the swelling, or is it my heart? I humbly thank each and every on of you great people for not only your praise but for your inspiration as well.
I am but a little fish in the sea that is the wealth of awesome creative talent here at the shipyards and there is no place I'd rather be.

My latest success with the rc and casting have inspired me to revamp my hobby room here at the house and I'm not far from having it to an improved more user efficient state. While that took a good part of my day yesterday, I did manage to get a little more painting done on the cw clone figure that I am currently working on. Once I get him a bit closer to looking like something, I will post some pics.

Once again, thank you all for everything.

Art, still no sunshine here for a good natural light set of pics. It's depressing.

I have gotten a little more work done on the CW clone figure that I started on quite a while ago. Now the plan is to make this one into an arf helmet wearing arc trooper. When I had another plan for this figure, I had painted em light grey with the obligatory detail lines that I like.

First shot shows some parts that I gathered together for this guy. I believe that I might try to make a kama for this one using the paper mache technique that I haven't used for a while.

Shot two shows the pauldron partially painted. Jay,this is one of those cast arc trooper pauldrons with the lower armor part cut off".

shot three has the pauldron almost fully painted. the helmet is also partially detail painted here. The white color for the visor is just an undercoat for another color.

shot 4 shows him wearing the partially painted pauldron. the body's color is just the base color for yet another camo scheme, this time based on a pair of grey camo pants that I have in the closet.

Oh yeah, that combined shoulder pauldron is great. I can see a kama in this figure's future? Looking good Clint.

Thanks dudes! No chain gun for this guy but I was thinking about a big rifle for him. I will make a kama for him, paper mache style. I will show how I do that, tomorrow.
