This is the second snow mando that I did which is just a repaint of a non arty jango figure but has a paper meche cape and a custom extra mixed helmet. He is also guarding that mixed snow gunner helmet that I made for another figure ...

AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!
look at the cape, the camo - oh i so live this, again an outstanding job!!
thanks art, I found some nice daytime shots of that figure on this page in my other custom figures thread with wip pics of that cape scattered in the 10 or so pages prior to this one.

sounds like tamer likes the color combo of that atat gunner figure so far so I shall procede with it then.

thanks fiala. I think that i will have fun with this one.

glad to see you got the belt and kama off without too much trouble...  something else that I'd forgotten about were the knee pads, the loop of stretch fabric encircling the leg is just decoration an doesn't hold the knee pad on... so if you need to cut those off you should be able to get away with that, but at the same time I think they are loose enough you should be able to paint around them.

I will probably leave those on. hopefully they will take some color with out too much of a protest.

Sorry for being so slow. I had resin duties to attend to yesterday and will be observing my birthday today through tomorrow. Going to a birthday party for the girlfriend's grandson tomorrow.

well then happy B-day to you sir.

The stretch cord takes color excellently by the way... you just need the paint to be thinner rather than thicker, OR use a permenant marker or other ink-based pen.

You can't rush the artist. You know me ole boy, I don't care if this gets done till 2012. Well maybe before Dec. 21st, 2012 as the Mayans think we are all doomed after that.

This trooper is looking great; love to watch your progress and can't wait to see the final version!

Light side, dark side...meh.  Just give me a lightsaber and a blaster and I'll take care of it!

Wow.  WOW!  Love how the ARF ARC came out!  Current project looks to be off to a great start, too.

Clint, I will apologize for jacking your thread, but I just couldn't contain myself. I got in my latest custom batch from Clint today and just had to display the awesome goodness. I haven't been this excited in some time. Take a look at these pics.

That last pics shows their home for now (the place for my prized Star Wars Possessions that are high off the ground from feline and little gal fingers). The pics just don't do em justice either. The helmet sculpts and paint apps and custom holsters and everything just make them fantastic. Thank you Clint!

damn that at-at pilot is something else... I still am amazed at that paint job, the detailing in that camo is phenomenal.

I agree, just seeing it in real life makes you realize Clint's eyes must be like magnifying glasses to paint detail that small.
