start out with a repaint of a clonte trooper that would be the easiest

Now don't get discouraged with the acrylic paints as they seem to work best for me with my figures.Like Pat had suggested, Model Master works pretty well for me as does Testors and Polly s acrylic paints.Get some work done and take some pics and we can help you figure out how to post them.
well id say ,, do you have a old toy witch isnt worth anything and you dont like , try that or try cheap joe knock offs and as for paint i normally use model plane paints

id say , if you want acrylic paints search for reeves they do some good paints like their yellow ochre matchs 212th battalion perfectionly good their pthalo blue matches 501st nicely and well i dont others but they have a arrangement of coulers wich are good for anything
