Talk about variations: I always liked that little part at the RS vintage archives, where they say how many "different" Ewoks you can make, just by switching hoods, bags and weapons   ;D

Think I will knock out those last 5 and get back to focusing on the last 10 POTF figs I need. Pricey bastages!
which 10 are those?

just curious :)

A-WING PILOT w/COIN
ANAKIN SKYWALKER w/COIN
BARADA w/COIN
HAN SOLO CARBONITE CHAMBER
LUKE SKYWALKER IN BATTLE PONCHO w/COIN
LUKE SKYWALKER STORMTROOPER DISGUISE w/COIN
R2-D2 w/POP-UP LIGHTSABER w/COIN
ROMBA (EWOK)
WAROK (EWOK)
YAK FACE w/COIN

The tricky part is that I really am looking for the complete set, with coin, and most of the loose fig auctions on eBay do not include the original coins. (Especially Anakin and Yak-Face)

As far as variants, I am really down to just 5, plus the "Super-premium Six".

Still need: Brown Hair Tattooine Luke, Blue Apron Ugnaught, Chewbacca w/Green Crossbow, and the Sy & Droopy with the silver mics. (Although I am likely going to cheat on those last 2 and just buy the mics separately since there is no figure difference)

As far as the Super Six (3 DT's, Vinyl Cape Jawa, Orange Hair Luke, & Prototype Rocket Firing Fett) those will stay on the radar but I'm not anticipating much progress on those unless I hit the lottery.

I also need about six vehicles, 3 mini-rigs (the last 3), and a few of the playsets. And THEN I'm done. I think.

Orange hair Luke?  That's one I've never heard of.  What outfit is orange haired Luke wearing?

The farm boy Luke had the orange variant,  even some of the others had slight variations, from the basic blonde and brown,

Haven't bought any new vintage stuff for a couple of days, but I did receive my Turtleneck Bespin Leia on Friday, and I was super excited to finally get my Brown Snake Yoda in the mail today!

These are both great variants, IMO. Some significant paint and even slight sculptural differences.

VERY happy with these two additions.

Woot! Big score tonight! I nabbed the oh-so elusive Security Scout Mini-Rig on eBay for a very reasonable sub $40 total (incl shipping). This is one of the last 3 mini-rigs I needed and is way harder to find (loose or otherwise) than the Sand Skimmer. I've kept a close eye out for awhile and it's just rare to see these pop up for whatever reason.

I'm psyched about this one!  ;D

Got my Klaatu variant in the mail today with the tan colored limbs. Meh, this isn't one of my favorites. The color difference is too subtle for my tastes, although I do like that the soft goods portion was noticeably different.

Still, one more down.

FINALLY got my grey hair Ben variant in the mail today, over 1 month after posting payment. (!) Anyway, I am satisfied, and this was another cheap one off the list.

What might be the cheapest place/price where a guy could find a loose YakFace?

Couple of things:

1) Got my minty Romba in the mail over the holidays. Looks awesome, very pleased, now down to 9 POTF figures needed.

2) Won an auction for the Hoth Ice Planet playset on eBay for only $15. I really only need the backdrop, but this is a good price either way. The foray into playsets has officially begun. (Heck, most of these things are cheaper than the figures I still need)

3) While on Thanksgiving vacation up in Bethany Beach Delaware, I happened upon an actual vintage toy store that had a GREAT selection of old Star Wars stuff. Not so much vintage stuff, mostly early 90's on up, but I did manage to pick up my first ever DROIDS figure! (one of the Duloks, not sure which because of #4 below)

4) I am SUPER BUMMED to see all the photos are gone from the sticky threads in this forum! Is there any way to restore those? That was an incredibly helpful reference resource for me. I miss it already!
