Just finished watching the episode. I won't give a full summary as that would ruin it too much, but still beware - spoilers ahoy all the same!
SPOILERS!
Honestly, don't look if you want to stay spoiler-free!
What's that? You're sure?
Well, okay then...
- Anyone thinking we wouldn't see CW miniseries-style superpowers might be surprised to see Plo copy one of Windu's moves.
- I think Plo has been given a new model; he seems more expressive than before, despite the mask.
- Boost and Sinker get namechecked during the Felucia battle; the battle itself is pretty brief as a whole.
- Ahsoka-haters will be glad to see she gets captured by the Trandoshans really easily.
- The Trandoshan culture is quite well-presented in such a short time span; there's a real 'velociraptor pack' vibe, which I don't think is unintentional. They use the barking-style of communication seen in Jurassic Park 3, and one even dies in the same manner as a raptor in The Lost World.
- I laughed at seeing a Gran and a Gungan amongst the scores of Wookiee pelts the Trandoshans have collected.
- The direction is really good in this episode; the jungle locale of the Trandoshan moon is vivid and incredibly detailed, and the presence of a lot of non-movie characters means there's more of a thrill as to who might die and when during the action scenes. Needless to say, not everybody makes it out.
- I may be mistaken, but I believe we catch our first glimpse of a non-Ventress Rattataki in this episode.
