Yep.  The Aves is a great product.  I used a thumb tack to give it shape and detail.

I'd never thought a Jawa would look like that, but on seeing the image it makes perfect sense. An excellent custom.

Really cool! I always wondered what they looked like under the hood.

On the front page, the more I think about it the more sense this just makes. I am stunned DD.

Lol.  It isn't mine to sell.  Elias really fell in love with this one.  I think I did too.  I have been wanting to make an Unhooded Jawa ever since I started to customize.  It wasn't as hard as i thought and I encourage you to give sculpting a try.  It's easier than you think and I have no formal art training.

Now that I started to sculpt, I have a feeling a lot more of my customs will feature sculpted parts, but not all.  I still have to crank out a custom a week for the blog and working 80 hours a week at my job doesn't leave me much time to customize extremely detailed figures.

It took me about 4 hours to finish with a lot of interruptions in between.

Absolutely terrific job on the unmasked Jawa!  You really did a tremendous job sculpting around the original figs eyes.  Phenomenal, phenomenal work!   ;D

Light side, dark side...meh.  Just give me a lightsaber and a blaster and I'll take care of it!

THANK YOU ;D

I kept seeing Wookie Jedi in many of the Star Wars customizing forums and really wanted to make one, but wanted to make a unique addition to the forums when I sat down to make one. Now that I'm starting to sculpt my own pieces, I felt now was the best time to tackle to Wookie Jedi. I broke out the Aves Apoxie Sculpt and sculpted a one of a kind head for my Wookie Padawan. It took several hours to make, but I'm really happy with the results.

WOOKIE PADAWAN

There's a bunch more pictures at the blog so head on over and check him out:
