As I said on both FaceBook and Deviantart, FANTASTIC work!  This was a very pleasant surprise to wake up to this morning.  I love everything about it, the impressionist style is perfect.  I love the background you've created as well.

I'd love to see a step by step "work in progress" series of images if you do another of these.  I'd love to see the progression of your images and how you work through each fundamental step. 

ultimately, you picked one of my favorite customs and I'm still blown away by the results!

second one on my way to develop and push my new conceptual digital painting style, another two long (or short) nights fooled around with textures and blur to simulate debris and movement and did some watercolor-like background. Learned a lot. And again its ALL painted but of course used and needed a photo for reference.
Besides techniques idea and inspiration count and both came to me while looking through AFE's blog. This time no custom figure but a simple well know Snowtrooper just to focus on pure action instead a cool customs

Art my friend I am sorry I have neglected you here. I replied to this in AFE's thread but had to "echo" here how much I love this. You have done so many great works, other than my Norris Tretch you immortalized with your touch, it is hard to pick a favorite.  Anyone who has had there custom graced on your canvas will say the same on there's I know, but this is in the top 5ish for me. Snowtroopers are my second favorite troopers. Bravo!

I really do appreciate your uplifting feedback and I am very happy this scene managed to jump into such a hight rank on your list of faves. I also like it a lot and I must say that I am feeling very comfortable with my new technique.

Though I am still closed for "real" commissions as long as I have those other big things going I very much want to develop my new style and therefore need loads of motifs   which means I will pick up customs and ideas coming from you yarders
Its a wonderful place, so full of inspiration and creative atmosphere, thank you all!!

Da bin ich mal wieder sehr spät dran mit meinem Kommentar entschuldige.
Die Bilder sind wieder erstklassig geworden.
Der Western Mando würde selbst Clint Eastwood in seinen besten Tagen in den Schatten stellen und beim Blizzard March läufts mir selbst bei den gefühlten 30°C die wir zur Zeit in Österreich haben eisklat den Rücken runter.
