Today is a public holiday here in the German state of Baden-Wuerttemberg, commonly known as "father's day" :)
so time to upload my long announced and now finished "Facing the Rancor"! A commissioned piece done again in my comic-like outline style.

Because of the spare time today I maybe continue work on Pasha, the rebel pilot or start doing research on Republic Commando figures, for I very much would do a poster in a cool action pose and RC's would be perfect ;)

But first, see Starkiller facing a jungle Rancor on Felucia:

This is sooo awesome!!! Right out of the game! I can hear the ROTJ Rancor roar in my head as I look at it. Galen is thinking "huh... lets figure out how to kill it and wonder what it was later" Expertly executed! Have you ever considered doing a full length comic? I can't wait to see more Pasha!!!

thanks, yeah, Galen sure figures out a way to kill the beast. Hmm, doing a comic is not what I am looking for, to boring for me for you have to do the same characters over and over again. I just do my posters instead :)

hey lucasclones, thanks for your great feedback, good to see that I could send some good vibrations :)

help regarding the RC's is always welcome! I am not sure what I am looking for right now, some "cool" action pose, a frog POV or something, maybe even two RC's, one in the background blurred, POV like the watcher is RC number 3, standing close to his comrads.... but I don't really know yet.

Art another awe inspiring piece mate. As always the textures and colour really pop out  at you to give that sence of depth and realism.

Awesome work Stefan! Really love the colors and tones on this one. On the RC's I love the ideas you have so far. If I may, I would love to se an action shot as you said 2 close together would be sweet. What do you think about them being back to back or something close to that. A caught in cross fire shot...

Hey Ron and Spry, thanks a lot for being with and liking this one :)  yeah, I wanted to go into a colorful direction not only because to keep it comic-like but to stay true to the atmo of Felucia. And when I read all your feedback its seems that I got it right :)

Spry, your idea with those RC's fighting back to back is fantastic!! I really like it a lot. No direct back to back but in a slight angle, one looking more ore less towards camera or slightly left, the other at his back firing to the right, camera near the ground...  something like that. But for I have no RC's figures to pose and take corresponding fotos I need for reference I first have to do some massive research...

Ich hatte schon lange auf ein "ArtdeWhill" Bild zum Thema TFU gehofft und endlich ist es da.
Das Bild ist großartig geworden Stefan. Ich bin wie immer sprachlos.
