WOW, boys, too much honor  :D   thank you so much for all your wonderful words, really appreciated!!
yeah, I have to admit that I am kind of proud of this one and super happy on how it turned out. I indeed wanted to merge the TCW Tarkin with Peter Cushings appearance and those eyes are freaking deadly... it was hard work, lots of hours but worth every pain I think :) And now I am really glad you like it that much just as I do.

Das "Tarkin" cover ist wieder sehr gut gelungen. Ich dachte mir schon fast, dass er seinen strengen Blick bereits in jungen Jahren hatte.

Just finished this brandnew concept sketch and thought about sharing it with you ;-)

Looks like a Mad Maxesque image there!  Modern roads, leading to a city built in the future.  Excellent colors.  If I may critique slightly, it does seem to have a marked line between the road and desert and foreground, and the cityscape in the background.  I'm not sure if that's intentional, but it makes it look separated.  Still, very brilliant!

I'm sure that it's intentional, the more blurred part of the desert beyond the hill just helps to convey distance. I like it. When I was a kid, there was a Micronauts playset called MegaCity, if not 2 or three different ones.
