another conept sketch I did is this one of a Desert Elve, some kind of weired mix of an Elve, a Jedi and some arabian clothes :D

I am sorry for only showing concept stuff these days but I am very busy with my cover commissions which of course can't be showcased so far. Anyway I am on creative waves and fool around with all those ideas ...

Oh wow Stefan! Both of these are awesome but I am sure you know Jez is quite special to me. So well done and I really like the hair and the face on her. The Desert Elve is really cool, looks like a great SW x LOTR mash up and I love the simplistic clothing and gear you gave him. These are very interesting studies that are done so well! Thanks for sharing!

Nice work on those, Art! For some reason, I get an optical illusion effect as I look at the jezara pic. That land mass " I am assuming that it is a butte and not a cloud" in the background on the right appears to be moving slightly. I dont know what is causing it, possibly the highlighted outline around her body.

hmmm, maybe you banged your head during a wild Halloween party?  >:D  ;D ;D
ha, I starred some minutes at it and could not encounter this effect, crazy thing, but all the surrounding lines and colors can cause it. Anyway, you are right, its a some sort of butte, infact the whole background is just a placeholder, something to fill the white around her. I always love to show my figures with some surrounding.

After the chief editor decided to use the original layout of my "Sandy" artwork (the one with the barb wire) I am now allowed to show my alternate - and now unused - version of her for your pleasure - the first place to post her ;-)
I mentioned all that stuff in an earlier post and now its time to let the image speak ;-)
Sorry for all the mystery mongering but thats how they play the game in the publishing business.

hey guys, thanks a lot for your overwhelming feedback, glad to see that you a still in love with her  ;D

Doc, thats exactly what I had in mind when I painted her curly hair: besides that 50s pinup-look/expression her hairs simply has to lool sweaty because of the heat and helmet.
dont worry, JediMindtrix, here are a lot of awesome threads to follow, one cannot notice them all at first. I am glad to give you some inspirations, like I get mine out of all the great customs here. BTW Sandy is an original idea by ActionFigEmpire :)
