Hi all,
well, it has been a few months and those who are following me on Insta or Facebook may have noticed it already that I have now really started to push my fan art on top of my art interests and themes and not only doing them now and then.
Finally.
This means that there will be many more new paintings around the corner ;-) I quitt the digital stuff so the new works will be all done traditionally with oil colors.

For I am a fan of the The Clone Wars it was inevitable that there would be a painting reminiscent of the series. Titled "Remains from the Clone Wars", painted in an bold expressive art stlye with oils on primed paper, 19.7*23.6 inches.

Hi Tamer, thank you very much for the fp!! You are sure a fan and supporter of my art. You know there are already four more paintings lying around, oil is still wet and they are unsigned, one painting is in the making (this time my first character pic in this new style), and hey, they are all waiting to be showcased, that is for sure :)

Hello Yarders,

to celebrate the opening of the new SOLO movie I would like to share my digital artwork of the galaxy's favorite Corellian smuggler with you, depicting him the way I met him in my childhood days :)  It was published some time ago in the German Star Wars fanclub magazine and is approved by Lucasfilm.
And to make this a real good celebration I have a poster size file online you can download for FREE if you like!

You're very welcome! Your work is very inspring! My girlfriend is talented, too and she likes painting a lot. I should tell her we should paint together, again. It's been a while since. I should paint more anyway, but I lack of time. Model building is what I mostly do, painting objects not canvas. Time for a little bit of variety...

So hey, grab your brushes and slap some paint onto scale models or canvas, doesn't matter :) Doing different stuff is  a good thing, you open up and increase your abilities and you refresh your mind. I also did some scale models and even traditional (abstract) objects. It is fun. But I also learned that my true way is oils.
BTW I am from Germany, too ;-)
