Great use of the Bothan body and the talon Karrde head.   I have a couple of Talon Karrde figs lying around and have never really liked that head sculpt, but you used it well here.

Light side, dark side...meh.  Just give me a lightsaber and a blaster and I'll take care of it!

I really like that one also. He has a good roundabout look to him.

Picked up a THOR figure today. Well actually it is Loki. I like this figure, but was looking at it going, I could just add a lightsaber and he would be done. However, I am going to think on it a bit more. May make a head swap. Not sure yet. Anyone have any ideas?

Mungo, I picked up the same fig...as well as a "Frost Warrior".  These Thor figs have great customizing potential; I haven't opened/played around with it yet, so I don't know if the ball-jointed heads are removable.  If they are, then I might try swapping it on another one of my WIP's.  The Frost Warrior kinda reminds me of a Massassi warrior...   I'm interested to see what you've got cooked up for these figs!

Light side, dark side...meh.  Just give me a lightsaber and a blaster and I'll take care of it!

Yes, I was inspecting it yesterday. I looks as if these figures are more or less simply to be modified, that is unless you don't mind destoying the body for specific parts.

Mungo's Daughter's Custom Female Jedi
« Reply #312 on: February 26, 2011, 06:49:14 PM »
OK...I have to take a moment to be a uber-proud dad here and show off something my little girl put together. Yes, I said little girl.

A little history: I am the dad of two little girls who actually enjoy Star Wars. They were introduced to the SW universe through the Droids cartoon. Their favorite story arc is that of Mungo Baobab, C-3P0 and R2-D2, hence my reason for choosing the name MUNGO BAOBAB. You guessed it, I chose it simply because my little ones loved watching that story.

Today, my six year old daughter asked if she could build a Star Wars figure. So, this afternoon I sat down with her and she picked out each and every part. I promise I didn't persuade her in any way. Come to think of it, every time I made a suggestion, she totally brushed it off and did her own thing. To be honest, I have had these pieces in my box for a while trying to think of something to do with them.  Today she came up with a pretty good selection of parts (right down to the Yoda lightsaber) for her custom in about 20 minutes.

I assembled the pieces and now the only thing I have left is to paint a few details she asked for. However, I just couldn't wait to share it with everyone. I will post the final product pics as well, but now I will shut up and show off her creation.

As her dad, I know I am biased, but I think she did a great job...for a 6 year old.
