The list could have been even larger, but I thought i would keep it somewhat manageable.

I voted and then realized I had missed a few things, foremost among them the custom by your daughter. Tell her to watch the front page and she will see her creation there. Tell her very nice work and I do apologize for not noticing sooner.

Your Jedi custom rocks too. I am guessing that the new Thor line will show us more great SW crossovers. Thank you for sharing. I will get that one up there too soon.

Great minds think alike!!!

My son saw the Nick Fury figure in the Iron man  pack and said "you should get that and do a custom of a battle damaged Mace" !!

Good Idea but a little short on funds stopped me from buying it!!

Great job!!!

Gand Jedi Knight of the Old Republic
« Reply #341 on: March 07, 2011, 04:47:21 PM »
Jedi Knight Lydan Torrust

"Gands were a sentient species of an insect genus that evolved on the ammonia-gas planet Gand. Several physical varieties existed, but there were two main sub-species of Gands: those with lungs and those without lungs. Gands with lungs were adapted to Gand's atmosphere, but like Kel Dors, they required special breathing gear if they wanted to leave Gand to manage potentially-poisonous off-world gas mixtures." (Wookieepedia) Jedi Knight Torrust required special breathing equipment. However, instead of the bulky apperatus that most Gands wore, Torrust had a small breathing filter surgically attached. This gave him the ability to breath in any atmosphere.

Torrust carried a staff saber that had quite a significant story of it's own.  When Torrust was a Padawan, he actually carried two lightsabers. The hilts were a bit shorter than normal. The blades were a bright green and about 2/3 the size of a normal blade.  At one point, Torrust and his Master were sent to a planet in the outer rim to settle a dispute between a group of farmers and planetary natives. Torrust's master was killed by an assassin during the mediation. The council gave the negotiations over to Torrust stating that he already had and established relationship with both parties. Torrust, although young, eventually won the respect of both parties and brokered a successful agreement between the farmers and the natives.  As he was preparing to leave, the native  Chief presented Torrust with a gift, his personal war staff. The farmer's lead negotiator presented Lydan with a gift as well, a deep blue diamond, which had been found while digging a well. In return, Torrust presented each of them with one of his lightsabers to help them remember the agreement to live peacefully.

On the return trip to Coruscant, Torrust used the war staff and the diamond and made the staff saber. When he stood before the Jedi Council Lydan Torrust was told he would begin the trials. Passing the trials, he was promoted to the rank of Jedi Knight.

I know it is usually implied, but I always appreciate feedback. Sorry, just noticed I didn't say that on either post.
