Looking good Doc! and glad to see you back at it again. Cool story line to go along with the vehicle.

I screwed up and had an idea for a second paint-scheme... had to go buy another Star Skiff... and some paint...
It has already been disassembled and had the first coats of base colors applied. Tomorrow may well see TWO cockpits being detailed!

Doc, I'm intrigued, what is my fault?
Speeder's looking great by the way!

Jules, my flash of inspiration is all your fault. Yours.
You'll understand in a few days, my friend. All shall become clear.

Once we all get well and the car gets out of the shop, I'll pick back up on these two and finish things off.

This is why it is Jules' fault:
Not exact, but inspired by his Spitfire he showed off.

So my wife points out that it looks like a semi-squashed bird from a flatter angle from behind...
blue beak, canopy eyes, engine legs...

Wow, Doc, that turned out really cool, as did your little backstory. Looks like a front pager to me but as your fixer is up there now,, it may have to wait a couple ofdays.

No worries, Clint - she's got a sister-ship that should be ready soon, so who knows... maybe the pair of them will look better together...

YEAH, this is nice.
I was planning to do something similar with my B-Wing and I didn't quite stick the landing, but you not only landed the paint job, you also did a somersault into a split to make this better than I could.
And I like design too. I've been eyeballin it on the shelf at the store thinking of the possibilities.
But expect an update to the B-Wing. I think this little inspiration of yours may still spread out here like a rash. Nice job.

S3, that will look AWESOME! You'll have room to get the full 5 stripe pattern of 3 white and 2 black that I just didn't feel I had room to accomplish on this smaller vehicle.
Now... if I can just find the screws to that other one.....
