holy cow... 6 figures in the cockpit?  That's got to be a mistake.  There is no way hasbro is going to make this thing that big.  I just don't see that happening.  of course... I could be wrong.

I guess I should wait a few more months before I start on trying to build one of my own...  esp if they are going to make one that (seemingly) has everything we wanted.

I'll probably wind up customizing it anyway... lol

This is awesome! Seems like a closer to scale AT-AT. But we have to remember that the Master Replicas AT-AT Studio Scale is in scale with Action Fleet figures and Snowspoeeders. For the Hasbro AT-AT to be in scale with the 3" 3/4 figures this would be a huge monster the size of a small horse. And the price for that size will be enormous.

Tamer, check out the latest new from Yakface:

Wondering what to expect for that rumored new AT-AT? Look no further as we've received a spy report with more features of this bad boy:

Here is the translated text:
- Complete with new molding, the AT-AT bigger than ever!
- random dialogue from the movie (English), built-in sound and action
- Holds Speeder bike in the rear hatch.
- Cable arm and pull open the cover for passengers side of the body
- The blaster has a gimmick in luminous nose (light up chin cannons I assume)
- Opening the hatch at the bottom of the body to recreate Luke's sneak attack
- AT-AT Driver figure included.
- Cockpit/head can hold 6 figures

Cockpit head to hold 6 figures? I guess that is too much though, maybe the main body?

Folks, Serg is quite correct on the scale of this vehicle for it to be totally accurate. He knows his walkers as well, if not better, than I.

Devin please don't give up on your idea of a correctly scaled walker. I too might wait a bit to see what this new one looks like, but there is no way Hasbro could make this correct in any scale that would even be close. Personally, I am not trying to get my expectations quite that high. If they give me a bigger walker that is even a tad more accurate than the ones we have now (which won't be too hard to do) then I will be happy. If they include a few more bells and whistles that is all to the good too.  I am telling you I would like to lock up our Shipyarders in a room for about a month and give them the job of making this correct and open the doors in about a month to see what folks have come up with. If there is any group of folks who could do it, it would be the folks here.

A comparison between the Master Replicas AT-AT SE with crashed snowspeeder and the Action Fleet snowspeeder - they are very close in scale, to have a Hasbro 3" 3/4 scaled AT-At this would be much bigger:

There is a possible picture of the at-at floating around the rebel scum forums (thread AT-AT v2).  I'm praying to God it ain't the real deal because I'd be extremely disappointed if it is.

Thanks to Rebelscum for this. Tamer, this isn't varified but what do you think?

Here is a pic from page 5 of that thread where someone had rendered a 3-d pic of an atat head that had room for 6 figures. Not the real deal, just a rendering, folks.
thanks to rebelscum for this pic.

Getting excited, Shawn?

If figures can sit like humans, the cockpit won't need to be terribly much larger, :)

Well now, if I had a prototype and were gonna face a company's wrath for releasing a pic early what kind of picture would I use, one that really make it look great fully standing or one laying on its side with no real perspective other than imagined floor tile sizes?

I will be happy if it is bigger and does a more realistic appearance than what we have had in the past. If this is the pic I am a bit disappointed in the boxy head, but can't see how this one would sit six figures. The only thing that makes me wonder is the new body style there, but this easily could be the same head from the old mold if the picture is accurate.

Now I know we aren't ever gonna get the version we want which is why I told Devin he may as well go ahead with his idea of a correctly scaled walker.  I also gotta wonder why with today's new cannon sculpts that we won't get slightly better versions than what is pictured here. It is gonna be a rough couple weeks till toyfair ain't it!

I am not sure about the real source of that pic, buddy, as the addy on the pic doesnt work. I do know that the scale representation shown was just a guess at the smallest possible size that this could be. It could be bigger than that but who knows? To me, the head looks different.

I didn't look real close as it seemed boxy and I didn't want to get to disappointed. Ofcourse without the canopy down that could be making it look a bit boxier too. I am wondering if trying to stick to a hundred dollar price point is causing this to loose some movie accuracy. I can't wait till toyfair!

As you can see, the back legs look shorter than the front. Man  Toy Fair is seems sooo far away.  Judging by this pic, its hard to say if it's the real deal or not. I mean  the Falcon and the AT-ST  looked real good. I can't see why Hasbro can't do a real good job with the AT-AT.

I agree, I think we all had minor points with those items, but nothing glaring. I think the new atat will be the same way. This new pic I am not gonna give too much credence till some confirmation comes. It just seems too "raw" to me.
