PHEW!!
Thanks to Luke..who without his help, I would have had to climb in through the window...
Cause I lost my keys to the club house.
  But HEY!

Some of you may have already seen this on Facebook, but here's one more update to the big Dirty Bird, but I'm also dropping a few pics that didn't make it to Facebook and show just a little of the added decals I'm starting to layer on to the B-Wing.

A shot with the A-Wing I'm still working on. I pretty much just have to wire this up and add a couple of new decals I have on order over at the shop. And a couple I've done to make this thing look more Star Warsy. And I also repainted some flea market G.I. Joe figure to become the new pilot for this Bomber..

Your dirty bird is wearing quite a bit of attitude and looking really good. That joe pilot fits the bill just right.

This is really cool!  I didn't get to see this earlier, so it's nice to get to see it now!  I have that same Joe pilot.

Dude, you know I love this with all the various color changes on some panels, well, all paint aps and the weathering is just perfect. The decals are looking great too, but that pilot, he is just so cool! I am feeling the WWII vibe along with an older sci fi twist. The helmet cut down then adding goggles is one of the best touches and really brings this whole package together...and you are not even done?...

As you may already tell..I have been running  around the house with this. And especially now that I have a pilot for the Dirty Bird. The goal is to get one nice set of pics all around with the A-wings for a photo montage of them on a Star Destroyer run.
Something similar to what Jules does with his stuff. And I'm glad that he's been there to break all sorts of ground with his web comic series...But anyway, I would have never thought to try this out if hadn't come to this forum. So here we go..My B-Wing pilot..the man, the myth..at least in his own head.

He even stand over all of the other guys...kinda like Kevin Nash.
  Followed by some headshots.

  Hey there, Jedi
I actually found this on Ebay for 16 bucks. And I think I've had this for about a year now, before I knew what to do with it.

Mate sensational work as always your skills are always a joy to look at.

Ron

  Thanks, dude.
You know, coming from you, that's always a great compliment.

Oh yeah, this update is now on our front page.

Again, thank you as always for that, Tamer.

Alrighty, I just learned how to do that this morning. Believe it or not. And thanks to everyone here who has come by to take a look at my toy stash. I have a couple more things to do on this bird and then I think I can call her done..one of the things I need to do is run out and grab a new ink cartridge for my printer so I can finally get some decals done.
I had a late night last night trying to get this done. I ripped out the big clunky piece of greeblie from the dash board in the cockpit and got a little creative with some evergreen plastic tubing that I had left over from the first A-Wing I worked on.
   Anyway...the pics..

One more shot of the engine block

SS, everything I've seen on the last couple of pages looks absolutely superb! I love the Naughty Princess nose art, it's perfect for the side of the B-Wing cockpit pod. Dirty Bird is just a classic custom piece!

This post certainly is a highlight of the forum right now!
